A great base to explore areas of outstanding natural beauty, often called the gateway into Devon. Everyday you can set off in a different direction and be at a beach or place of interest withins minutes.
You are ideally situated two mins from m5 junction 27 you have an amazing choice of beaches, whether you choose to go down to the south coast or across to the west you will not disappointed and either way you can be at a lovely beach in 40 mins.
5 Mins :The Waterloo Cross provide typical cheap and cheerful two meals for £10.00 Monday to Friday and cooked breakfast every morning from 7.30.
The Halfway House has a lovely Sunday Carvery you can even order it to bring back and eat on your deck.
Uffculme Village has a fantastic pub/restaurant called the George. Kasia and Robin are great hosts and you will get a lovely friendly welcome . Uffculme also has a fish and chip shop, Co-op and post office.
There really are hundreds of lovely places to eat in this part of Devon hopefully enough for you to come again and again! We have lots of information on places of interest here on site for your perusal.
If you fancy an evening in let us cook for you or you could have a bar b que, even have your own Picnic on a blanket in the field. It’s your holiday whether you have come in a group, hiring the whole meadow which would allow up to 4 tents around the two Safari tents or as a couple just wanted to sit and eat together on the deck watching the sun go down we can make it a magical experience for you .
We are surrounded by lovely wildlife we have had deer on site, Buzzards above and loads of birds butterflies and bees. If you enjoy wildlife have a chat with us about local walks, the canal is only 15 mins walk away you may see kingfisher, and of course lots of ducks and we often have a family of swans..
If you enjoy crafts and markets Honiton, Wellington and Tiverton all have fairs on different days of the week Cullompton Farmers Market, Uffculme Steam mill, should you choose to explore locally, the local Tiverton canal has lovely walks“
